Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Location: The Heights, Central Houston (Hybrid option after trial period)

About The Role

The right candidate will serve as a Sales & Marketing Assistant  who is responsible for supporting a variety of very challenging projects and the smooth running of our operations. You will thrive when working with a team; be comfortable working face-to-face with customers, prospects, and consultants; and as our Sales & Marketing Assistant, you touch every part of Endiem’s business and will make an immediate impact by performing the following functions while reporting jointly to the CMO and Operations Director:

  • Marketing Support 
    • Executing directed Marketing activities such as 
      • Social media sharing for Endiem and our customers on LI, Twitter, FB, etc every day on the relevant channel
        • If social media analytics show a downturn in engagement, creating and implementing strategies for improvement 
      • Email marketing
      • Writing and sharing blog posts relevant to the company and our customers
      • Assisting with writing project success stories
      • Taking direction and executing tasks related to conferences, marketing campaigns, and other deliverables under the direction of the CMO or Account Director
    • Crafting and honing marketing lists as directed by the CMO and/or Account Director
  • Sales Support
    • Create the first draft of Statements Of Work, Work Releases, and Change Orders
    • Double-check and triple-check the accuracy of numbers in estimate sheets then migrate them to the correct projects
    • Submit relevant contracts and manage the follow up of on them
    • Assist our Account Director with lead list grooming and building via Linkedin, Dun & Bradstreet, and other data sources
  • Delivery Support
    • Arrange logistics for any onsite meetings for the Delivery Team and our customers  (such as training, go-lives, road mapping sessions, etc.)
      • This includes arranging catering, supplies, goodie bags, agendas, travel, and everything in between 
  • Operations Support
    • Performing local office tasks as needed - sometimes you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do!
      • Packing & shipping
        • Organize customer thank you gifts and flowers
        • Ship welcome packages to new team members
        • Check mail & deposit checks & deliver documents to appropriate team members (like tax articles to our Bookkeeper or CFO)
        • Make returns, drop-offs, or pickups for the office
      • Pick up lunch/coffee/team meals on occasion
      • Maintain and replenish inventory of supplies in the office
      • Small office maintenance tasks

Experience & Qualifications

The right candidate for the Sales & Marketing Assistant at Endiem would ideally be a graduate caliber individual who is  highly inquisitive, independent, technology-literate, and possesses:

  • 1+ years of experience in a professional role in business 
  • 4+ years of work experience (we don’t mind what you’ve done but we’re looking for a grafter, not a clock watcher)
  • Proven experience in strong, articulate writing skillset
  • Strong presentation skills, in a variety of formats (written, in-person and virtual) 
  • Ability to think critically and analytically while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Great listening skills 
  • The ability to learn various tools and technology quickly (and to work out when to ask for help)
  • Four-year college degree or pending graduation in any discipline, though ideally a degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration or Project Management is preferred

About Travel

We’re not road warriors by any means, but this role will occasionally take you on the road:

  • Must be open to project travel (which may include the occasional weekend) of about 10%

Employment Type

  • Part-time - fixed tenure of 51 weeks max
  • The candidate must have proof of the right to work in the United States. Endiem is unable to provide H1B Visa Sponsorship
  • Houston candidates are required - you will be in the office every scheduled working day
