Endiem is proudly supporting and cheering on the 24 players competing in the Scott A. McIntosh Memorial (SAM) Golf Tournament today in Houston. The South Houston Chapter event raises funds for the Folds of Honor Scholarships.
While the Folds of Honor SAM Tournament will not be a large event this year due to COVID, the group has raised more than $200,000 from donors like Endiem. Giving to this event is as important as ever as Folds of Honor scrambles to fund this year’s scholarships after the cancellation of their major fundraising events.
Rich Eichler, who is on Endiem’s Board of Advisors, and Geraldine’s husband Brian Powell are both longstanding tournament committee members for the annual SAM Golf Tournament, which has raised over $4.5 million for Folds of Honor. In fact, the local Tournament has been consistently recognized as the largest single-day contributor to the Folds of Honor in the country.
The Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members. Their educational scholarships support private educational tuition and tutoring for children in grades K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and dependents.
