Research shows that 46% of men always negotiate salary while only 30% of women do. Even more shocking, in a recent Levo survey of millennial women, 66% reported that they didn’t even know how to ask for more. Ladies, here’s the deal: if you don’t try to negotiate for more, you are leaving money on the table. Not only that, women still only earn 78 cents per dollar men earn, so negotiation is critical to closing that pesky gender pay gap. If we work to help each other, we’ll be able to change this.
